About Badlander Beverages

Badlander Beverages are proudly made at our distillery in Helena, Montana, using Rocky Mountain water sourced from one of the purest alpine regions in the country.

Our headquarters are in Missoula, where the brand continues to grow alongside the community that shaped it. From the water to the production process, Montana isn’t just part of the story — it’s the foundation.

Every can reflects the craftsmanship, independence, and quality that define this place we call home. The Badlander Beverages line includes Baddies, our signature canned cocktail line, non-alcoholic Badlander Seltzer water which is loved by everyone and Badlander Hydration, coming soon!

Montana is more than a place. It’s a feeling. A lifestyle. We invite you to experience it yourself with one of our small batch, Montana made beverages.

Founder's Story

Scott MacIntyre is a Montana man through and through. He’s always worked in the bar business and so did his father before him. He started Badlander Spirits so people could have restaurant-quality cocktails at home and in the wild. While creating the spirits, he discovered that the Rocky Mountains that run through Montana are home to some of the best alpine water so he started canning that too.

With the exception of tequila from Mexico, all ingredients including the cans come from the USA, if not Montana.

The Facility

Canning is no small feat. It takes a specialized facility and most canners are cost-prohibitive for new small businesses trying to get their product to market. So Scott started his own. The Badlander cannery is in Helena, Montana and offers co-packing that’s affordable and with lower minimums, with the intention of making it easier for Montana residents to start small businesses and keep it all in-state.

If you’re interested in co-packing at our facility, reach out to us!
